Likes for kilometres That is. Originally a target of 73 kms was set from January 5th to March 15th. By January 11th it was obvious I was going to achieve that easily. A decision to double it was made. 146kms by March 15th!
Today, January 29th I achieved, and passed that goal at 148.8142kms. I'm very excited because it means that I no longer have to record EVERY kilometre I do at the gym.
As of this coming Saturday, February 4th I start bootcamp. Only once a week but better than nothing right. It'll just put a bit of variety into my cardio workouts I do at the gym.
Anyway, until next time!!!!
Well done girl! I need me to do that baby 3 is making it extremely difficult, any suggestions!! Hate going to the gym, have my treadmill at home n love the beach.
ReplyDeleteWell everyone knows I'm a huge gym advocate but if you're not into it, just try walking (believe me I know how hard it is with non school age kids). I was walking just to and from my kids school 750m each way twice a day 3 or 4 times a week. Even that was enough to stop me from gaining weight when I was sick. Now my 2nd child starts kindy on Wednesday, on these days I'll be able to walk briskly/ run after the school drop off as well as go to the gym when hubby gets home.
DeleteMy fitness pal is awesome too. It counts calories for you! I love it. You can use it either on your computer on I have it on my iPhone.
Million kilo challenge is good too (although it MAY be too late to sign up now). It gives you a meal plan and possibly an excercise plan (and it's free to join up).
Do you know WHY you don't like gyms? I used to hate them because I didn't want to go alone. That was until I joined a gym where there was literally 10+ older women who went there to chit chat. Since then I love going alone (oh and I changed gyms. I now go to a 24hr gym so I can go when ever).
Good luck. Sadly it's very easy to put weight on but so hard to get rid of it. I know of many people, myself included, who've had no problems losing baby weight until that third baby.
